I'm trying to integrate google+ sign-in in my android app.

The answer is NO. 答案是不。 Google+ app isn't needed at all. 完全不需要Google+应用。 Only the latest google play services library is needed for the app to run on a device. 仅需最新的Google Play服务库，应用程序即可在设备上运行。 And mostly this library is available on most phones. 大多数手机都可以使用该库。
