I understand that we can create a customized login page in Salesforce;

Not 100% clear on the exact question here, but you don't need to create any custom components in order to customise the login page. 这里的确切问题还不是100％清楚，但是您无需创建任何自定义组件即可自定义登录页面。 This is now standard with Winter '14 - go to the "My Domain" admin menu item and scroll down to "Login Page Branding". 现在，这是Winter '14的标准设置-转到“我的域”管理菜单项，然后向下滚动到“登录页面品牌”。
