When I copy and paste an image to a richtextbox and save it into rtf file (using SaveFile() ), the size is much larger than the size of the image (about 10 times larger).

No it is not possible to reduce image size of RTF files because RTF is saving a image in WMF (Windows Metafile), uncompressed format so the image size is big. 不可以，无法减小RTF文件的图像大小，因为RTF将图像保存为WMF（Windows图元文件）未压缩格式，因此图像大小很大。 You can only zip/rar the whole file to get less file size. 您只能zip / rar整个文件以减小文件大小。
