I am an absolute beginner to develop Windows Apps for desktop. 
我绝对是开发Windows桌面应用程序的初学者。 I have installed windows 8.1, Visual Studiio 2013 and SDK related to it but still unable to get the Windows Store Template to develop apps either by using XAML or JavaScript. 我已经安装了Windows 8.1，Visual Studiio 2013和与其相关的SDK，但仍无法使用XAML或JavaScript获取Windows应用商店模板来开发应用程序。 Can somebody please help me to solve this issue...Wasted two days already troubleshooting the issue on my own. 有人可以帮我解决这个问题吗？已经浪费了两天的时间自行解决问题。

Windows Store Apps are different than the Windows Apps for the desktop. Windows应用商店应用程序与桌面Windows应用程序不同。 You need to first figure out what you are trying to develop. 您需要首先弄清楚您要开发的内容。
You would use Visual Studio Express 2013 for Windows for Store apps 您可以将Visual Studio Express 2013 for Windows用于商店应用程序
or Visual Studio Express 2013 for Desktop for Desktop apps. 或Visual Studio Express 2013 for Desktop for Desktop应用程序。
