I have 2 applications with different .net versions (2 & 4).

You don't set an ASP.NET version for an application pool, you set an ASP.NET version for a website. 您没有为应用程序池设置ASP.NET版本，您为网站设置了ASP.NET版本。 So under IIS, just go to website ==> Properties ==> ASP.NET tab and set your asp.net version from there. 所以在IIS下，只需访问网站==>属性==> ASP.NET选项卡，然后从那里设置您的asp.net版本。
