New versions (minor versions) of Java, Tomcat and MySQL are released on a regular basis.

It depends. 这取决于。 If you use any of the managed services, they do often do upgrades (Like RDS). 如果您使用任何托管服务，它们通常会进行升级（例如RDS）。
If you are using a standard EC2 instance, they wont have access to your instance, so you are responsible for keeping packages upgraded. 如果您使用的是标准EC2实例，则他们将无权访问您的实例，因此您有责任保持软件包的升级。
