In my joomla 1.5 site, I am getting an error saying " 500 - Layout "default" not found ".

The file had to be there. 该文件必须在那里。 Please try to download the 1.5.26 patch package and upload all files to your root directory: Joomla 1.5.0 to 1.5.26 Patch Package 请尝试下载1.5.26补丁程序包并将所有文件上传到您的根目录： Joomla 1.5.0到1.5.26补丁程序包
This will fix the problem but I would suggest you to check security issues in your site and update it to a newer joomla version as soon as possible. 这可以解决问题，但是我建议您检查站点中的安全性问题，并尽快将其更新为更新的joomla版本。
