I need to find a sequence or sequences that should give results (hits) in Fasta but not in Blast, or vice versa.

When you say find a sequence by BLAST or FASTA I assume you mean find a hit in the database? 当您说通过BLAST或FASTA查找序列时，我假设您的意思是在数据库中找到一个匹配项？
I think FASTA might be better at finding alignments between dissimilar sequences than BLAST but BLAST is better at aligning similar sequences. 我认为FASTA可能比BLAST更好地发现异种序列之间的比对，但BLAST更好地比对相似序列。
