I've just opened and broken a piece on my new Raspberry Pi B+.

It is the power LED. 它是电源LED。 It is of no consequence other than you will not know if the power is on or not, but otherwise it should function fine. 除非您不知道电源是否打开，否则没有关系，但否则应该可以正常工作。 They probably told you the same thing over on the raspberry pi site. 他们可能在树莓派网站上告诉了您同样的事情。
