I've spent all day searching Google and trying every command I could find or even think of to update Apache on my server.

While Apache 2.4.10 is the latest version from Apache, it is not the latest version in Centos 6.5. 虽然Apache 2.4.10是Apache的最新版本，但它不是Centos 6.5中的最新版本。 On CentOS 6.5 the latest version is 2.2.15. 在CentOS 6.5上，最新版本是2.2.15。 If you really want Apache 2.4 you need to add a repo that contains it. 如果你真的想要Apache 2.4，你需要添加一个包含它的repo。 See this question for an example 请参阅此问题以获取示例
