Question

i am currently using XAMPP to building my websites. And i want to set mail server as example@gmail.com I searched the method online, but still didn't get any solutons. here is my php.ini code in mailfunction

I had the same problem and spent hours on end trying to get the configuration right (on XAMPP/Windows 8.1) without success. Then I tried PHPMailer and it worked right away. In the same folder as PHPMailer, create a file eg email.php, paste the "A Simple Example"-code from the webpage, exchange for your email credentials and run email.php in your browser. That's it.
