I have been using Git-1.8.3 from a flash drive successfully from both work and at home on win7 machines.

Try downloading it again? 尝试再次下载吗？ If that doesn't work can you give the file name and location you are using for git bash? 如果这样不起作用，您能提供用于git bash的文件名和位置吗？
