I know to trigger execution a function from a traditional save of the dynamics crm 2013 form but I want to alert the error message from this save button which appears on to the grid of the duplication detection pop up.

Customisation of the Duplicate Detection form isn't supported in CRM. CRM中不支持自定义重复检测表单。
You could probably find the underlying form aspx file and edit that. 您可能会找到底层表单aspx文件并进行编辑。 However this would certainly not be supported and I wouldn't recommend it. 然而，这肯定不会得到支持，我不会推荐它。
