I have a simple question concerning smallfiles parameter of a MongoDB instance. 我有一个关于MongoDB实例的smallfiles参数的简单问题。

I have a MongoDB 2.4.4 instance with smallfiles set to false . 我有一个MongoDB 2.4.4实例，其smallfiles设置为false 。 Because of that I already have 50 GB of data on that instance. 因此，该实例上已经有50 GB的数据。

My conclusion was that that the space wasn't reduced automatically, so you need to backup, drop and import the DBs 我的结论是空间不会自动减少，因此您需要备份，删除和导入数据库
