I have set up a mysql RDS instance which accepts connection from anywhere within our organization.

Few days back user complained that workbench can not connect to this instance and getting the error : Lost connection to MySQL server at 'waiting for initial communication packet', system error: 10060 几天后，用户抱怨工作台无法连接到该实例并出现错误：在“等待初始通信数据包”时与MySQL服务器的连接丢失，系统错误：10060

It was a connectivity issue. 这是一个连接问题。 Connection couldn't reach out to RDS mysql instance due to firewall, although security group was wide open 尽管安全组已打开，但由于防火墙，连接无法与RDS mysql实例建立连接
