hi we are working on a home automation project which can controll over mobile app so can I use google cloud message for this type of home automation purposes ?

I'm not sure about the particulars of the system you are designing. 我不确定您正在设计的系统的细节。 However once your Android, iOS or Chrome device is online it will be able to receive GCM (now FCM) messages. 但是，一旦您的Android，iOS或Chrome设备在线，它将能够接收GCM（现在为FCM）消息。 No sim card is required. 无需SIM卡。
