While my site is running on IIS, I plan to change the Physical Path of the site.

It's ok and you can do so but notice that your web app would be restarted. 可以，您可以这样做，但是请注意，您的网络应用将重新启动。
It means that if your app is using inproc sessions, all session variables would be removed. 这意味着，如果您的应用程序正在使用内在会话，则所有会话变量都将被删除。 If you're using Sessions with State Server or SQL, then that's fine. 如果您使用带有状态服务器或SQL的会话，那很好。
