I've just installed Chef (12), on a public facing server, along with the Chef Manage interface.

The user pivotal is created by default, but I can't find any obvious information about the security considerations, which are crucial for public web services. pivotal用户是默认创建的，但是我找不到有关安全性考虑因素的任何明显信息，这些信息对于公共Web服务至关重要。
As far as I see, it's not possible to login to the web interface. 据我所知，无法登录到Web界面。

That user is magic and internal to Chef Server. 该用户是魔术师，并且在Chef Server内部。 You will never touch it directly or be able to see it unless you do something very wrong like copying superuser authentication keys manually to a workstation. 除非您做错了很多事，例如将超级用户身份验证密钥手动复制到工作站，否则您将永远不会直接触摸它或看到它。
