We are upgrading our DB from SQL Server 2008 to SQL Server 2014, but we do not have plans to upgrade SSIS packages.

You may need to change your connection managers to use the correct Provider version for SQL 2014 connections, and of course change the connections strings as needed. 您可能需要更改连接管理器以对SQL 2014连接使用正确的提供程序版本，并且当然需要根据需要更改连接字符串。 But SSIS 2008 packages can connect to SQL Server 2014 with no problem. 但是SSIS 2008程序包可以毫无问题地连接到SQL Server 2014。
