You dont have to host anything on Microsoft, You can use its Federation services for authentication and host you application on AWS. 您不必在Microsoft上托管任何东西，您可以使用其联合身份验证服务进行身份验证，并在AWS上托管您的应用程序。

Microsoft provides Azure AD and Azure B2c for federation, depending on your use case you can pick one of it. Microsoft提供了用于联合的Azure AD和Azure B2c，根据您的用例，您可以选择其中一种。 B2C is used for customer facing applications and AD can be used for internal(Within the company) federation. B2C用于面向客户的应用程序，而AD可用于内部（公司内部）联盟。
