I'm trying to run this example VTK code , but it doesn't work as intended.

The problem seems to be that VTK 6 doesn't have text features. 问题似乎在于VTK 6没有文本功能。 I had to upgrade to VTK 8. I thought I was running the most recent version of VTK, but in fact Anaconda gave me 6 because 8 isn't compatible with Python 2.7 (so I also had to install Python 3). 我必须升级到VTK8。我以为我正在运行最新版本的VTK，但是实际上Anaconda给了我6，因为8与Python 2.7不兼容（因此我也必须安装Python 3）。
Upgrading to VTK 8 solves the problem. 升级到VTK 8可解决此问题。
