I need to configure an otherwise closed firewall (to LAN) to allow gencam / GigE Vision camera discovery and communication.

GigEVision devices listen on the port 3956 of their ethernet interface, for all control packets, discovery packets included. GigEVision设备在其以太网接口的端口3956上侦听所有控制数据包，包括发现数据包。 They answer using acknowledge packets using the same port. 他们使用同一端口的确认数据包进行应答。
The video stream packets will be emited by another port of the devices. 视频流数据包将由设备的另一个端口发出。
