I have my default font in BBEdit set to Helvetica 12, which is the font I want, but for some reason one of my files is displaying in a different font.

You can choose "Normalize Options" from the Edit menu, which will return that document's settings to the current values in Editor Defaults;您可以从“编辑”菜单中选择“标准化选项”，这将将该文档的设置返回到编辑器默认值中的当前值； that should do the job.那应该可以完成这项工作。
