Yes. 是。 Eclipse recommends Java 1.5 or greater. Eclipse建议使用Java 1.5或更高版本。
I haven't had any problems running Eclipse with OpenJDK. 我在使用OpenJDK运行Eclipse时没有遇到任何问题。

I personally wasn't able to get eclipse working with the Open JDK and had to install the Sun JDK. 我个人无法让eclipse使用Open JDK并且必须安装Sun JDK。 I'm on Kubuntu 11.04. 我在Kubuntu 11.04。
