I was facing issues in ipod touch devices when build with ios 5. It actually messes up the entire screen and all the textbox, labels, buttons displayed in the bottom of the screen and after scrolling up and down, everything gets aligned properly.

I had the same problem and I did the same changes as you to solve it. 我遇到了同样的问题，并且做了与您相同的更改来解决它。 Just make sure you also change it for Distribution and Release too (I made that mistake). 只要确保您也为“分发和发布”更改了它（我犯了那个错误）。
As for the iPod touch 2G - that doesn't support iOS 5. Are you looking specifically about supporting iOS 5 on an iPod touch 2G? 至于不支持iOS 5的iPod touch 2G，您是否正在专门考虑在iPod touch 2G上支持iOS 5？ If so, according to Apple, you don't have to. 如果是这样，根据Apple的说法，您不必这样做。
