I would like to connect to the iPhone a device that was not manufactured specifically for the iPhone.

You should be able to do it with a jailbroken phone. 您应该能够使用越狱的手机来做到这一点。
Otherwise you would have to join the MFI, and it would additionally require custom hardware on the device. 否则，您将必须加入MFI，并且它还需要设备上的自定义硬件。
