I installed XCode 4.4 on my Snow Leopard machine, but I have a lot of NSLog output, which is just literally freezing up my development with constant beachballs.

To roll Xcode back to a previous version just login to the developer portal and download the particular version of Xcode you want here 推出的Xcode回到以前的版本只需登录开发者门户网站，并下载你想要的Xcode的特定版本这里
Unless you've decided to implement some of the new objective-c features then you should be fine to roll back to 4.3. 除非你决定实现一些新的objective-c功能，否则你可以回滚到4.3。
