As Google mentioned in developers page :

CustomVar are being replaced by CustomDimensions in SDK 2.0, as well as the upcoming Universal Analytics. CustomVar正在被SDK 2.0中的CustomDimensions以及即将推出的Universal Analytics取代。 Now you are allowed to use 20 CustomDimensions in a standard GA account, instead of 5 Customvar in previous architecture. 现在，您可以在标准GA帐户中使用20个CustomDimensions，而不是之前架构中的5个Customvar。
