I have created a document library with about 20 columns for storing meta data. 我创建了一个约20列的文档库，用于存储元数据。 The client wants to have search on this metadata with a facility to filter the data based on two values. 客户端希望使用一种功能来搜索此元数据，以便根据两个值过滤数据。 For example we have two date columns(efective date and termination date) and the results that they wanted to see is files which are having the values between effective date and termination date. 例如，我们有两个日期列（生效日期和终止日期），他们想要查看的结果是文件，其值在生效日期和终止日期之间。

Create your document library, then in "document library settings" click "Metadata Navigation Settings". 创建文档库，然后在“文档库设置”中单击“元数据导航设置”。

This should give you what you want. 这应该给您您想要的。 You can specify which columns to filter data on. 您可以指定过滤数据的列。 You can stack the filters and by default they appear on the left of the page for users to interact with. 您可以堆叠过滤器，默认情况下，它们会显示在页面左侧，供用户进行交互。
