I successfully installed Consolas font on my Ubuntu 12.04 LTE as described here .

I have found a workaround. 我找到了一种解决方法。 Qt Creator from Ubuntu Software Center looks very well and it found all my system fonts. 来自Ubuntu软件中心的Qt Creator看起来很好，它找到了我所有的系统字体。 The only drawback is that the latest available version there now is 2.5. 唯一的缺点是现在的最新可用版本是2.5。
