I want to prepare a report about monitoring Windows Azure Virtual Machines programmatically. 我想准备有关以编程方式监视Windows Azure虚拟机的报告。 Is there any such API? 有没有这样的API？

You can use System Center 2012 Service Pack 1 Beta which has built in monitoring for Azure VMs. 您可以使用System Center 2012 Service Pack 1 Beta （已内置对Azure VM的监视）。

There are two downsides to SCOM.
