顯然，自PHP 5.3以來，eregi（）已被棄用，我將使用什么而不是eregi（）？

自PHP 5.3起不推薦使用eregi（），而是使用preg_match（）：

if (preg_match( "~VERIFIED~i", $this->ipn_response)) {
    // ...
}

就像stckrboy說的那樣，你的系統管理員可能已經調整了錯誤處理，或者他們剛剛更新了PHP版本。
