Internal 500 server error: .htaccess: RewriteCond: bad flag delimiters

Question

Ok, so I was messing with a plugin wc3 cache plugin trying to make it bypass for mobile devices in wordpress this server error pop up. I am a newbie and whenever something pops up i usually go into cpanel, delete it, everything is hunky dory not this time. I get this:

This is the bad line:

that the error message is referring to. Apache's pretty dumb about parsing directives and will assume that spaces are delimiting the directive parameters (with a few exceptions, like enclosing things in quotes). That means when Apache tries to parse the above rewrite condition, it will assume that:

• RewriteCond is the directive
• %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} is the first param (the object to test)
• (adsbot-google|android|bada|bb10|blackberry is the second param (the test)
• and 9350|blackberry is the flags

there's a bunch more spaces but most likely Apache is ignoring them since it's hung up about the flags. Obviously, 9350|blackberry aren't valid rewrite condition flags. It first wants stuff inside square brackets, like [NC] for "no case", and even if that was in square brackets, they aren't valid anyways.

Try escaping the spaces with a \\ :
