404 Page Not Found: /index

Question

I asked my server support to clear inodes for me from my server and next my site is down, all I get is 404. these are my php logs shown below:

ERROR - 2019-09-24 23:22:04 --> 404 Page Not Found: /index

So, what happened was that the server guys ran some script that was probably written by thanos and it wiped out my application/core, application/helper and application/views. all these directories also have index files. So, when Codeigniter logs give you '404 Page Not Found: /index' it's not just your 'index' in '/' but maybe your index is missing in someother directory of the framework. Thanks for the help guys really appreciate it.
