Find a suitable cloud hosting solution

Question

This is quite a non-technical question. I am a IT rookie here and also an e-commerce business operator. I am looking for a way to host the Windows accounting software for the e-commerce business I am using to the cloud because I have a strong need to access it remotely. The software's publishing company itself do provide a cloud solution but I find it not worthy.

With a limited business modal, I wish to find a perfect solution that won't break the bank.It is not a power-crazing program and it's just for personal use so a little of computing power is good to go.

I have came across AWS, Azure product site.

Both AWS, Azure and GCP would be capable of hosting your Windows accounting software. I would probably suggest to jump into Azure as I'm not sure how Microsoft native your tool is, but I can imagine you also make use of a active directory (you can perhaps hook up Azure AD to your e-commerce business).

Though it's hard to answer this question as by the end of the day all cloud providers can host this easily for you. Try to look at the bigger picture and not just this product, what's on the roadmap for your business, what are skills of the people around you, etc.
