Can I get group emails via google apps script?

I am working on google apps script. I have successfully integrate my gmail to gchat . So whenever new email come we can get those email and sent to to gchat.

The problem is I want to get same integration with my gmail group emails to gchat . We have a google workplace and I am owner by role of the group. I have searched the groups doc but I did not find how to get group emails.

I don't want the mail address, I want the emails from that group mails. Any suggestions?

I found out the answer. You can integrate the group emails to gchat. But it needs some settings. Make sure you are on the group and your subscription setting are like this. I did not know that. Silly of me. Go to your group > members to check the setting.

When new mail come to this group then it will also sent in you email account. Then you create a label for those emails like:

After creating the label for your group emails, just get those label and send it to gchat.
