GA4: why are all pre-defined dimensions not available?

I want to build a report in Google Data Studio using GA4 data but the dimensions I want to use are not available.

There are 165 pre-defined dimensions in GA4.

But in Google Data Studio only 85 of them are available.

Is there a way to get them to show up or is the only way to register them as custom dimensions?
