So I've successfully installed Janus ( https://janus.conf.meetecho.com/ ) on a vmware distro of Ubuntu 20.10, by following the instructions here: https://github.com/meetecho/janus-gateway

I also set up SSL, and then a local web server to serve the html directory as described here: https://medium.com/agileops/install-janus-webrtc-ubuntu-server-18-04-4-b7e855de772e
