MFC Static Linking Unresolved External Symbol

Question

I am trying to build a custom version of GyazoWin using Use of MFC: Use MFC in a Static Library , and it results in a huge list of reference errors.

How can I appease Visual Studio so I can build using static linked libraries?

Update

I managed to add user32 to the linked libraries (I think) and now I only have 1/3rd the amount of errors. Can anyone tell what library I'm missing now?

For functionality from platform libraries:

1. Do a search for the name of the function (eg "GetStockObject") using your favorite search engine.

2. Find the documentation for the function on MSDN (eg GetStockObject ). It'll usually be one of the top results.

3. In the documentation, under "Requirements," find the "Library" entry. That is the library with which you must link to use the function (for GetStockObject , it's gdi32.lib).

4. Repeat until you've resolved all of the errors.
