Spring Application Beans Not Found Exception

I'm using the following application context file,

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<beans xmlns="http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans"
    xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:context="http://www.springframework.org/schema/context"
    xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.springframework.org/schema/context
    http://www.springframework.org/schema/context/spring-context-4.0.xsd
    http:/www.springframework.org/schema/beans
    http:/www.springframework.org/schema/beans/spring-beans-4.0.xsd">

    <bean id="helloWorld" class="helloworld.api.impl.HelloWorldImpl" />
</beans>

When I'm reading the file, I'm getting the exception,

 org.springframework.beans.factory.xml.XmlBeanDefinitionStoreException: Line 8 in XML document from file [applicationContext.xml] is invalid; nested exception is org.xml.sax.SAXParseException; lineNumber: 8; columnNumber: 68; cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element 'beans'.

I'm using spring 4.0 and I'm able to access the spring beans xsd through my network browser.

It is missing configuration metadata;

Change your schema namespace below

http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans
http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans/spring-beans.xsd"

Reference Spring 4.0 Configuration metadata

I have checked the error logs, The actual issue is not with the xml file but with the jars.

Caused by: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException; lineNumber: 8; columnNumber: 68; cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element 'beans'.

Make sure you have added all the required jars into your classpath.

Try this declaration instead, as far as I understand the version is not required.

<beans xmlns="http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans"
       xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
       xmlns:context="http://www.springframework.org/schema/context"
       xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans
        http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans/spring-beans.xsd
        http://www.springframework.org/schema/context http://www.springframework.org/schema/context/spring-context.xsd">

Also with spring 4 you can use annotations

package hello;

import org.springframework.context.ApplicationContext;
import org.springframework.context.annotation.*;

@Configuration
@ComponentScan
public class Application {

    @Bean
    MessageService mockMessageService() {
        return new MessageService() {
            public String getMessage() {
              return "Hello World!";
            }
        };
    }

  public static void main(String[] args) {
      ApplicationContext context =
          new AnnotationConfigApplicationContext(Application.class);
      MessagePrinter printer = context.getBean(MessagePrinter.class);
      printer.printMessage();
  }
}
