ruby on rails application with ember.js on ubuntu 14.04

Hi I am just trying to build an ember.js application with ruby on rails. i am following Ember.js+rails

link. while install ember.js on my ubuntu 14.04 i am getting the following error.]

Your problem is installing npm on ubuntu. While you want to use that for a ruby on rails + ember website, that is actually not relevant at all. If you install node.js it will include npm. Otherwise use the installation description from the npm git.
