Divide an array into separate arrays in PHP

Question

I have an array like this:

array(5) { 
[0]=> array(1) 
  [0]=> int(1)       

[1]=> array(1)  
  [0]=> int(2) 

[2]=> array(1)  
  [0]=> int(3) 

[3]=> array(1)  
  [0]=> int(4)

[4]=> array(1)   
  [0]=> int(5)
   }

how can I divide it into 5 separate arrays? (Actually divide the array into its length)

$temp[] = $collection2;
$temp[] = $collection3;
$temp[] = $collection4;
$temp[] = $collection5;
$jsondata = json_encode($temp); 
      echo $jsondata;

This is the output:

[[["a",1]],{"1":["b",2]},{"2":["c",3]},{"3":["d",4]},{"4":["e",5]}]

I want to have something like this: [["a",1],["b",2],["c",3],["d",4],["e",5]]

Not sure what you're trying to achieve but you can use a loop and access each array, in this example as the variable $a . Have a read of http://php.net/manual/en/control-structures.foreach.php

foreach($arr as $a) {
    //do what you want with $a
    print_r($a);
}
