Maven CXF plugin API incompatibility

Question

I am using Maven 3.2.3 to build my project and I keep getting this weird error:

Does this mean I am using wrong version of Java in combination with cxf plugin (2.3.3)?

Another strange thing is that this error dissappears after rerun of mvn build job.

Any tip is appreciated.

After updating the version of CXF dependencies in my project to newer version (2.7.14) as khmarbaise suggested in the comment, the error dissappeared.

The old 2.3.3 version was a heritage from old development team (It seems like the combination with newer Maven version was the problem).
