Question

I'm doing a tutorial at

http://zetcode.com/tutorials/javagamestutorial/movingsprites/

with Eclipse, but I get a NullPointerException when I run it.

At this Point:

private String craft = "craft.png";

private int dx;
private int dy;
private int x;
private int y;
private Image image;

public Craft() {
    ImageIcon ii = new ImageIcon(this.getClass().getResource(craft));
    image = ii.getImage();
    x = 40;
    y = 60;
}

and

    public Missile(int x, int y) {

    ImageIcon ii =
    new ImageIcon(this.getClass().getResource("missile.png"));
    image = ii.getImage();
    visible = true;
    this.x = x;
    this.y = y;
}

The Order Structure is

• .settings
• bin
• src
• image
• star.png
• craft.png
• missile.png

I tried putting both .png files everywhere. Only putting the files into the bin folder changes anything:

• bin
  • tutorial4
    • craft.png
    • missile.png
