mantisBT plugin GaugeSupport Error #1111: Invalid use of group function

I use mantisBT 1.2.19 for a bug tracking project http://mantisbt.org/download.php .

Further, I use the plugin gaugeSupport to support user votes on bugs for bug ranking ( https://github.com/EvilRenegade/Gauge-Support )

The plugin does not work right for my mantis project:

In the plugin file issue_ranking.php, there is the MySQL query:

When I add the column "rating" to the query, I still get an error of wrong usage of the GROUP BY function:

Does anyone know how to setup the GaugeSupport Plugin for Mantis right?

"You can not use aggregate function in the order by clause Just use order by sum_of_ratings".
