ASP.net MVC 4 application hangs after rebuild

Question

I am busy creating a .net mvc 4 web application using entity framework.

If I change something an a controller and then rebuild the solution the web page just loads and loads and eventually says that there is an error connecting to the database.

A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified)

I then close and reopen my browser, and the page loads fine.

Note: I am running the site through IIS, if I run it in debug mode it also loads fine

Anyone have some sort of an idea as to why this would happen?

In my mind, you changed something in SQL part. I guess you change SQL query or connection. I met same situation when I made changes in MVC view. I needed to reload browser thus changes would be loaded. I suggest you to show some image to make your question more detailed. Hope it may help.
