Spring MVC with CSS - the requested resource is not available

I'm developing a small Spring application. I have a problem with adding CSS file to my .jsp webpage. I'm getting Glassfish's 403 error - the requested resource is not available.

Here is the project structure:

webapp
  --WEB-INF
    --jsp
  --resources
    --css

That's my .jsp code:

<%@ taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core" prefix="c" %>
<%@page contentType="text/html" pageEncoding="UTF-8"%>
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"
    "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">

<html>
    <head>
        <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
        <link href="resources/css/style.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
        <title>Title</title>
    </head>

    <body>
    </body>
</html>

web.xml

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

</beans>

Thanks for help in advance!

To be able to access resources without going through the complete listener logic, you need to add 1 configuration line to your dispatcher-servlet.xml :

<mvc:resources mapping="/resources/**" location="/resources/" />

This line takes care that all the called files under the location /resources are not parsed and are accessible directly by the browser on the expected url.
