Android studio : put a GMap inside a Fragment (noob)

Question

I'm using Android Studio for the very first time and I don't get how to achieve something.

I want to build a bery basic app : 2 tabs (let's call them A and B). Tab A : A Google Map, with some markers etc... Tab B : just some random text.

I've read the documentation (especially Getting Started) and actually, here is where I am :

I have my 2 tabs fully functionnal, A contains a GMap (using a fragment inside my .xml) and B soem random text. I have put the Google Map by using the default Gmap Activity given by Android Studio.

Here is my HomeTabFragment.java (Tab A) :

But my HomeTabFragment extends Fragment and I need to extends FragmentActivity to get it works. I can"t do this because my PagerAdapter.getItem() need to return a Fragment.

It's blurry, I hope that I made clear.
