how to use amazon rds with cpanel

I have cpanel instance on AWS cloud created with cpanel/whm ami. Now I'm using mysql on same server. Now planning to use with RDS for Database. Currently I have only one domain (wordpress website ) and 25 email accounts.

It has detailed instructions on how to configure an RDS instance so that it can be used with a WHM MySQL Profile.

Note 1: cPanel & WHM currently only supports connections to MySQL® 5.7.

Note 2: This only works on cPanel version 80 and up.
