Spring Boot connection with two MySQL databases

Question

I'm following the Baeldung tutorial for multiple datasource connections ( https://www.baeldung.com/spring-data-jpa-multiple-databases ) but my connections to the databases aren't working.

I have the connections configurations like this in my application.properties file:

spring.jpa.hibernate.ddl-auto=none

And I added a configuration file like this:

I have to link the configuration file to somewhere? How can I solve this?

Your configuration are creating two DataSource beans. Your entity manager doesn't know which one to use. If you want to use both connections in your application, try to name your bean and use @Qualifer in your entity manager to pick the right data source to use.
